01 One pool of data for the whole fleet
The monthly allowance of several contracts is merged into a single shared pool. A vessel that sails little in a given month lends its headroom to one that sails a lot, so you stop paying for additional usage on some while gigabytes go unused on others.
02 Pause the contract in the off season
If the vessel stops, the contract stops. The pause is executed automatically against the operator and appears as a credit on the next invoice. When you sail again, it reactivates.
03 Know before the invoice arrives
Email alerts when usage reaches the percentages you choose, sent to the recipients you choose — the skipper, the chief engineer or whoever handles administration. You can set thresholds above 100% so you are warned once you are already into additional usage.
04 Where each vessel is, with no extra hardware
The terminal reports its own position, so the map works without installing anything else. You see the whole fleet, the route history for the last few days, and you can define alert zones that notify you when a vessel enters or leaves them.
05 Split traffic across the links you already have
The on-board router groups devices by zone — bridge, crew, guests — and decides what goes out through which link. You can share the load between satellite and 4G instead of leaving one idle, and if a link drops the traffic moves to the next one without anyone touching anything. It is all configured remotely, with no visit on board.
06 Where the data goes, device by device
Today you know what the whole vessel spent. This breaks it down by device, by cabin and by type of use, so "who ate the 200 GB?" stops being an argument and becomes a report. It also shows what is being consumed with nobody using it: updates, automatic backups and high-resolution video.
07 Speed by cabin, and the bridge always online
Speed is assigned per user or per cabin, and the link is shared fairly when several people are connected at once. In practice that means navigation, operations email and the phone system do not lose their line because someone is streaming in 4K. And the captain can cut crew Wi-Fi during a watch.
08 Cybersecurity on board, not just a Wi-Fi password
Every vessel runs its own firewall and a private VPN tunnel back to our systems, so management traffic never crosses the open internet. And the network is split into zones — bridge and operations, crew, guests — each with its own rules, so whatever happens on the crew Wi-Fi cannot reach the equipment that keeps the vessel running. An infected laptop in a cabin stays in that cabin.
09 What can be opened on board, and when
The same firewall decides what gets through: whole categories blocked — adult content, gambling, social media, downloads — or the other way round, only the essentials open and nothing else. You also set which devices get a connection and during which hours. Because the rules are per zone, you can be strict with the crew without being strict with guests. And it cannot be bypassed by changing the DNS on a phone: name resolution is forced through ours.
